The tomatoes are decent sized, but I get more total yield from a determinate type like Viva Italia.

I lived in Ky for 25 years and many of my neighbors grew your mystery crop, as well as my ex's family!Dave @ HappyAcreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03441364543023807886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313396449380749054.post-87052083790876657852015-08-25T20:59:07.730-04:002015-08-25T20:59:07.730-04:00Impressive harvests this week. Your corn looks perfect (unlike mine which was a failed crop). And 13.7 oz is no slouch of a tomato. I've just pulled my black beans in the past week or so and also waiting to dry. It looks to me as those garlic are really braided? I went to a garlic festival and was disappointed to see that almost all vendors were selling "braids" that were simply the straight stalks tied together (although I can't do it myself, just like to see the vendors do it!).Susiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10354350096358468967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313396449380749054.post-29023908829951120512015-08-24T16:58:52.947-04:002015-08-24T16:58:52.947-04:00Thanks, Daphne. Have you made any sauce from the supersauce tomatoes yet? If so, how was it in terms of taste?

Oh, that's too bad about the Honey Select - I'm assuming it isn't open pollinated so that you can save the seed? I have more started now for the fall and they are covered. One thing you can use them for is making kimchee. The homemade stuff is nice.David Veltenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07710293718143454000noreply@blogger.com
