I gave up at the juice stage (too lazy) and decided we'd all just drink straight grape juice. Ooh, we had some nasty bellyaches for a while! Wine is so much more civilized. :)Susiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10354350096358468967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313396449380749054.post-13869823056750127692015-08-31T23:21:57.380-04:002015-08-31T23:21:57.380-04:00I do think you are very lucky to get to go bike ri...I do think you are very lucky to get to go bike riding and come home to canned goods! I do have to agree with you, I don't know how much fresh corn I could eat in one sitting. I ruse to buy it out of season so each ear is wonderful and precious.Be sure to write down somewhere, less cabbage and more corn next year!Lexahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11067337116117320740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313396449380749054.post-6796239411111840362015-08-31T16:53:45.061-04:002015-08-31T16:53:45.061-04:00You are a spoiled, um, lucky man - just like my Da...You are a spoiled, um, lucky man - just like my Dave. For us, anything ripe (and red) goes in the sauce when it's time to can. I'm trying to do variety specific tomato sauces this year, but am not getting that much from any one variety at once, so this means I have to do your grape trick with the tomatoes (freeze them as they come in & bag each variety separately).

I still make the mistake of thinking I'll remember something (what, when, how I sowed things, etc.) and almost always end up regretting it. Very funny potty humour, btw ;)Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313396449380749054.post-56236385238297122682015-08-31T14:16:33.092-04:002015-08-31T14:16:33.092-04:00Look at all those grapes. Those won't grow here over the summer. The radishes just sulk until it gets cooler.
