It's that time of year and the weather can turn on a dime.

Wonderful harvests & (adding to the chorus) that's an ingenious idea to dehydrate the carrots! I'm thinking of all the other veg you can do that to - that would make winter soups so easy! That coleus is beautiful, btw. I'm looking forward to eventually having the time to dabble in growing ornamentals from seed.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313396449380749054.post-89472825500024392962015-09-28T12:09:47.397-04:002015-09-28T12:09:47.397-04:00I like the idea of the dehydrated carrots too. I mix carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms, and peppers together for my own soup mix. Throw a couple of handfuls into a pot of stock and you have dinner.David Veltenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07710293718143454000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-313396449380749054.post-71663898947552802272015-09-28T08:42:32.954-04:002015-09-28T08:42:32.954-04:00Very lovely harvest, love the carrots and melonVery lovely harvest, love the carrots and melonJenny Rottingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09559432369642740389noreply@blogger.com
