Happy Holidays from Eight Gate Farm!

A short post to wish my readers (all three of you!) happy holidays, whatever you may celebrate!

The Kitchen Goddess made caramel apples to give to our friends--using our own Granny Smith apples and our own maple syrup. Some chocolate-free ones on the right for those with sensitivities.

I wish you could try one. They are amazing. But you need a knife and fork to eat, or it will be a Kriss-Mess.

I'm looking forward to the coming garden season, as no doubt all of you are. Let's hope for a stunning year!

  1. A very tasty Kriss-mess and a Happy New Year to you and the Kitchen Goddess. I'll be reading you next year for sure. Will you be having a white holday this year? It's gray and wet here but I'm not complaining because it sure beats extreme drought.

  3. Oh yum! I've never made caramel apples, but maybe one day...that's if our newly planted apple trees aren't shocked to death when winter finally arrives. Wishing you and the KG a wonderful Christmas & New Years!

    1. Hopefully your apples will be fine. According to TKG, caramel is culinary napalm, so be careful! Happy holidays.

  4. Merry Kriss-Mess and Happy New Year, Will and TKG. Those apples are beautiful, never seen them decorated like that, as if they were made by a goddess.
